Leah R. Wyant is a shareholder at Wyant Law Offices, S.C., where she maintains a broad-based real estate practice. Leah provides strategic counsel to clients on a wide range of matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and development of real estate; negotiation of construction contracts; office, retail, multi-family, commercial, industrial and residential leasing; and land use, zoning, licensing and permitting matters. Leah joined Wyant Law Offices, S.C. after five years of practicing with one of the largest real estate law practices in Wisconsin.

Leah is active with the community and serves on the Board of Directors for Meta House, a nonprofit organization that helps women struggling with drug and alcohol addiction to reclaim their lives and rebuild their families. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Downtown Racine Corporation. She is active with professional associations and is a member of NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association, WCREW (Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate Women), National CREW and CARW (The Commercial Association of REALTORS Wisconsin).


Representative Matters and Experience

  • Advises clients on the purchase and sale of real estate, including: negotiating and drafting listing contracts, letters of intent, purchase and sale agreements and land contracts; analyzing due diligence matters, such as title and survey; negotiating and drafting reciprocal easement agreements and declarations of covenants and restrictions; preparing transfer documents; structuring complex tax-deferred 1031 exchanges; and negotiating and structuring real estate financing.
  • Negotiates and drafts leases and subleases in connection with office, manufacturing, retail, commercial and residential space and senior housing living facilities.
  • Represents developers, retailers, assisted living providers and senior living providers on matters relating to land use, zoning and other aspects of entitlements throughout Wisconsin.
  • Negotiates and drafts leases and subleases in connection with office, manufacturing, retail, commercial and residential space and senior housing living facilities.
  • Assists clients in navigating the regulation of alcoholic beverages in Wisconsin.
