Leah R. Wyant is a shareholder at Wyant Law Offices, S.C., where she maintains a broad-based real estate practice. Leah provides strategic counsel to clients on a wide range of matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, construction contracts, and development of real estate; office, retail, multi-family, commercial, industrial and residential leasing; land use, zoning, licensing and permitting matters; and food and beverage licensing and development considerations. Leah joined Wyant Law Offices, S.C. after five years of practicing with one of the largest real estate law practices in Wisconsin.

Leah is active with the community and serves on the Board of Directors for Meta House, a nonprofit organization that helps women struggling with drug and alcohol addiction to reclaim their lives and rebuild their families. She is also active with professional associations and is a member of NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association, WCREW (Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate Women), National CREW and ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers).


Representative Matters and Experience

  • Advises clients on the purchase and sale of real estate, including: negotiating and drafting listing contracts, letters of intent and purchase and sale agreements; analyzing due diligence matters, such as title and survey issues; negotiating and drafting reciprocal easement agreements and declarations of covenants and restrictions; preparing transfer documents; and structuring complex tax-deferred 1031 exchanges.
  • Represents developers, retailers, assisted living providers and senior living providers on matters relating to land use, zoning and other aspects of entitlements throughout Wisconsin.
  • Negotiates and drafts leases and subleases in connection with office, manufacturing, retail, commercial and residential space and senior housing living facilities.
  • Assists clients in the food and beverage industry on entitlement and licensing matters.
  • Assists clients in navigating the regulation of alcoholic beverages in Wisconsin.
